A Fairytale Wedding in Florida
Did you know that you can get married in a castle in Florida? It's true! Just a few miles south of Jacksonville Beach Florida, there is a beautiful Castle that offers everything you could have dreamed of. That is where Kristen and Shawn decided to tie the knot. Jacksonville Florida truly has so much to offer when it comes to weddings. The venues here are amazing. However to have a castle near the beach is just another part of the charm.
I was so lucky to photograph Kristen and Shawn's engagement back in 2017. I had just moved to Colorado with my family and flew back to capture their surprise engagement on boat! Shawn really did a wonderful job surprising Kristen. She thought I was there to take pictures of the crew. It was so much fun! So fast forward to 2021, I had moved back to Florida and they had then asked me to photograph them last Castle Otttis. Ummm, yes please!
I was so excited and honored to be a part of their special day! Since I am a certified drone pilot, photographing this wedding was a dream! I was able to get so many intimate moments and of course pictures from sky!
Kristen looked so elegant and Shawn looked so charming. Everything about their wedding was exactly from a fairy tale, even down to the butterfly release! I always feel so lucky to do what I love. To me it truly does't matter where my couples decided to get married. However I have always wanted to photograph at a castle! Can you blame me? I just love that this castle was close to home here in Jacksonville Florida.
