Kimberly + John | Evergreen Colorado Engagement

Before I told the world I was moving to Colorado, I had already started searching for clients. I was so lucky to have found Kimberly and John during that search! We started chatting long distance, planning all the details to their engagement session and their October wedding. It really made me feel amazing that they both trusted me, even though I had NO idea where to go! Luckily for me they already had a plan to do their engagement pictures in Evergreen, Colorado. I had obviously done a million Google searches for images to get an idea of what to expect, but those pictures just didn't do justice!

My family flew into Colorado in in the spring to look for our new home and that's when we decided to finally meet and do their engagement session. It was such a beautiful day! The sun was shining and the sky was extremely blue. Kimberly and John were ready and super excited. They are they kind of couple that just laugh and laugh, so most of their session was just them laughing! I tried to get a few serious shots and of course it ended in laughter. I really love couples that can open up and just have a good time. I personally am not a fan of being in front of a camera so I understand how tough it can be. They were naturals!

Kimberly had some things up her sleeve and she wanted to incorporate two things that were really important to them: football, and John's military background. I think those details were my favorites to capture during their session.

I truly had a great time getting to know Kimberly and John and am looking forward to my FIRST official Colorado wedding in October!
